via szymon: Socks for your Chairs by Chris Ruby I also use socks on chair legs for ages now when in need to prevent them from scratching wooden floors - but of course its all single mis-matching socks from you know where =) I didnt knew its an age-old Puerto Rican trick as mentioned in the comments of the source blog, but if it is so, it wasnt my idea to be copied, and I am fine with that ;D
